Internet Security - Top 10 riskiest Canadian cities to surf the web
As reported in the Financial Post, Residents of Burlington, Ont. best surf with caution, as they reportedly live in the riskiest place in Canada to go online.
The city of 175,000 just west of Toronto landed the dubious top spot for the second time in the "Top 10 Riskiest Cities in Canada" study published Wednesday by security software giant Symantec Corp.
Factors such as cyber-attacks per capita and "potentially risky" consumer behaviour including access to Wi-Fi hotspots and social networking activity were used by Sperling's BestPlaces to determine the rankings.
